O Porto Sweet Home esteve cá em casa, falaram comigo, o tema foi o Porto. Fica aqui um pequeno excerto, no entanto podem ver o artigo completo aqui.
“She studied architecture but found her passion in photography. Diana Carapuço is a photographer living in Porto, connected to the city for more than 10 years. Through the lens she sees Porto, a city that she considers a photograph. In black & white or colours, let’s find out Porto through her eyes. Last week we visited her place, a historic and vintage apartment with a breathtaking view to one of the most iconic and central places in Porto, Avenida dos Aliados.”
PSH: How your work relates with the city? Is Porto an inspiration?
DC: My work is heavily inspired by this city. The whole city is a photograph. I picture it in black and white all the time. As a photographer, I get the chance to discover the city from a different angle, as I often photograph guest houses, apartments and hostels.
PSH: Do you usually work at home? Or do you have a special place outside where do you like to work?
DC: I work at home. I have a nice view and I enjoy working at home with few distractions. I put some music on and try to clear the cats out of the desk. They like to be a part of everything I do and follow me everywhere. When I’m at my desk they like to sit on my arm even if it means that they are cutting off the blood flow until my hands go numb.
