Waving not drowning
Here’s another one from the vaults. It was shot about 4 years ago at Batalha – Porto. At the time I thought, well that’s it, that guy waved and ruined the whole thing. Today I believe that perhaps it has a certain charm. It’s funny.

Estive a ver algumas fotografias antigas e encontrei esta. Não sei porque é que nunca a mostrei antes. Mas de alguma forma hoje, quando a vi despertou qualquer coisa que na altura ficou dormente. Aqui está ela. É de 2005 e foi fotografada na estação de S.Bento no Porto.

I was looking through some of my old photos and I found this one, I don’t know why I never showed it. I guess at the time it meant nothing but today somehow it struck something inside me. So here it is. It’s from 2005 and it was shot at S. Bento train station at Porto, Portugal.

Esta fotografia foi tirada mesmo por baixo da ponte D.Luís na Ribeira do Porto. Quem tiver coragem de andar naquelas ruas cheias de história, de certeza que não se vai arrepender. Fica o concelho de irem acompanhados e ao início da tarde.

This one was shot by the Porto riverbanks under the D.Luís bridge. If you’re brave enough to venture those streets packed with history, you woun’t regret it. Just don’t go alone and in the early afternoon.
