Nascida em 1979 a 11 de Agosto, foi um lindo dia de verão igual a tantos outros. Na realidade não teve nadinha de especial, para falar a verdade.

Desde cedo, Diana demonstra uma forte inclinação para a arte nas suas várias vertentes. Quando finalmente consegue dar os primeiros passos, aventura-se numa árdua tarefa de redecorar as paredes da sala-de-estar com os materiais que na altura tinha disponíveis, nomeadamente canetas bic e aguarelas. As suas pinturas nos livros também não eram bem aceites pelos familiares. O dia em que decidiu cortar todas as fotografias de um dos álbuns familiares porque não concordava com o enquadramento original das fotografias, também não foi visto com bons olhos. Na altura não havia photoshop mas havia tesouras.
Desde cedo foi uma artista incompreendida e muitas vezes castigada mas mesmo assim Diana não desiste de mostrar a sua arte ao mundo.

Desde então conta com várias exposições de pintura entre 1996 e 1999 e ainda em 1997 inicia os seus estudos em Arquitectura.

Em 2005 encerra o seu capítulo autodidacta na fotografia e ingressa num curso de Fotografia sob orientação de Gonçalo Machado e Mário Rocha. Desde então conta com duas exposições de fotografia e diversos trabalhos fotográficos.

Actualmente encontra-se estabelecida no Porto e está disponível para trabalhos fotográficos por esse mundo fora.

Born in 1979 on August 11th, a pretty summer day just like anyother. In fact there was nothing special about it, really.

Early in her life, Diana shows a strong interest in the fine arts. When she finally learns to walk, one of her first artistic accomplishments is the redecoration of the living room walls with the very little available materials, they were bic pens and water-colours. The several paintings and freehand drawings she did in the family books also failed to be accepted by her family members. She was also hardly reprimanded when she decided to cut all the family photos of one of the photo albums just because she disagreed with the original crop. There was no photoshop back in the day but there were scissors.
Very early in life, her art work is often misunderstood resulting in hard punishment, nevertheless she never gave up the arts and the will to show her work to the world.

Since then she's done several art exhibitions to show her paintings from 1996 to 1999. In 1997 goes to college to study Architecture.

In 2005 rebells against being a seft taught photographer and starts a photography course under the wings of the photographers Gonçalo Machado and Mário Rocha. Since then she's done two photography exhibitions and several photography work assignments.

Diana is currently based in Porto, Portugal and is available for photography work assignment throughout this lovely planet.
